Exercise Physiology

Exercise physiologist geelong

Exercise that's designed for you, not just prescribed to you.

An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university-trained allied health professional who specialises in using exercise to prevent and manage chronic disease, injury, and disability.

At Core Health Group, we're Geelong's only clinic where that clinical expertise is delivered inside a fully equipped, operational gym — not a rehab room with a handful of equipment. That distinction matters.

It means your program runs in the same environment where you'll eventually train independently. It means our team can observe how you move under real load, not just in controlled isolation. And it means the transition from clinical supervision to self-directed training is gradual, supported, and far more effective.

Whether you're managing a complex health condition, recovering from injury, working through an NDIS or DVA plan, or simply wanting to train smarter under professional guidance — we'll build something that genuinely fits your life.

Follow-up sessions are guided by your Exercise Physiologist, who will take you through your program, re-assess your assessment results, monitor your progress, and make any adjustments needed to keep you on track.

Medicare

(gap payment applies) Rebates are available under a GP-referred care plan, covering up to 5 sessions per calendar year. Gap payments are $52 for an initial consultation and $32 for a follow-up appointment. Learn more
